Dr Walker is an experienced HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist. He has worked as a Senior Psychologist within NHS specialist mental health teams and runs a busy private practice operating both in central London and in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

He is an experienced clinician with specialist skills in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions using a wide range of proven therapies including CBT, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Schema Therapy as well as other approaches dependent on the client’s needs and goals.

Tim is passionate about delivering exceptional care and promoting emotional and psychological well being.

His experience extends to working with clients presenting with a wide range of psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, phobias, grief, PTSD, psychosis, self-esteem issues, relationship problems and many more.

Tim has worked in a wide range of settings from hospitals and community mental-health clinics to secondary schools and mental health charities. He also lectures on postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Counselling Psychology at City University London, and is an experienced conference speaker

He comes from a corporate background so has a real-life understanding of the complexities of modern life, the impact of work-related stress and the pressures of finding a healthy work/home balance.
